This “Arid” version of the 8’x4’ mat “Motorway - Extended” substitutes the dirt texture of the “Barren” mat for the grass along with a few other changes (warmer color temperature for roads and pavement, slight dusting) for a mat suitable for Middle East or other arid landscapes.(If you plan on a standard 6’x4’ table, a fabric mat will allow the extra foot or so over the ends of your table.) Caution: This was designed to work with an Overpass terrain model, as illustrated in the last picture of the “Motorway” mat. Without one, the mat will not make much sense.
